ZTE also held a conference at the event showcasing its second generation of UD camera technology. The first device with this new technology was the Axon 20 5G, which was launched last year.

The pixel density of the camera area under the screen has been increased from 200 ppi to 400 ppi, and the refresh rate has been increased from 90 Hz to 120 Hz.

Since then, the company has made improvements to the new screen technology. One of the most important updates is the pixel density in the camera zone. While the first iteration arrived with a pixel density of 200 ppi, the new second generation display panel has a pixel density of 400 ppi. In other words, the screen can display sharper and clearer images. In addition, the company wanted a better home screen.

Another notable improvement is the panel’s refresh rate as the new screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Much higher than the 90 Hz of ZTE’s first generation UD camera technology. During the event, the company also demonstrated the first 3D technology for structured light on the screen. This enables 3D face recognition and real-time recognition that is superior to the various currently available 2D solutions. That said, it is currently one of the strongest and most secure biometric technologies that can be used for 3D modeling, augmented reality and other applications as well.
