The official listing shows that the ASUS ROG Phone 5 launch event will be held in Taipei at 7 p.m. (UTC + 8). In Berlin it will be available at 12:00 p.m. (UTC + 1), while in New York it will start on March 9th at 6:00 a.m. (UTC + 8). The official site does not provide details on the specifications of the ROG Phone 5. However, the company decided to skip number 4 for its next ROG phone as it is considered a bad omen.

In terms of specs, the ASUS ROG Phone 5 is expected to have a 6.78-inch OLED screen that has a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and can be supplied in variants of 8 GB and 16 GB RAM. These specifications belong to the variant ASUS_I005DA. The TENAA certification body has also approved another variant with an ASUS_I005DB model number.
