Fitbit is one of the best brands for smartwatches, which is certainly why the company was bought in the last few months. Although the purchase only closed a few weeks ago, Google began promoting its new line of products.
Last January, the Google Store welcomed Fitbit products into the family with an ad that went straight to the Fitbit Official Store.
We had doubts whether there would be integration of Fitbit products with the Google Store, but the answer is yes.
Fitbit is now part of the Google Store
Although this change has not yet happened in Portugal, the 9to5 Google website reported that the US has already started taking steps in the new era of Fitbit. Starting today, Fitbit watches will appear in addition to Pixel, Nest, Chromecast and Stadia devices as another family product in the US Google Store. This novelty did not replace the American Fitbit store, which is currently still active (although its future is uncertain).

The Fitbit products that arrived in store are Versa 3, Sense, Inspire 2, and Charge 4 watches. Accessories like Fitbit wristbands or smart scales did not arrive.
This change points to the return of the watches to the Google Store, which already plays a bigger role in the manufacturer’s portfolio than Wear OS ever before.
